The Journey Begins

I'm taking my first plunge into the crowded writing pool. Over the years I found that I have an abundance of fantastical flotsam in my brain ocean. What if I strung them all together, wrapped them around some pages, smack a cover on it, and call it a story? I have wandered off the edge of the map folks, and here, there be monsters. I don't yet know what the muse will feed me. I don't yet know the extent of illiterate horrors that will smack your doors on my paper route of personal growth. But it will be done with great care, great effort, and great coffee. Actually, any coffee will do. Writers can't be choosers, so they say.

If you can tell stories, create characters, devise incidents, and have sincerity and passion, it doesn't matter a damn how you write.

– W. Somerset Maugham
